The ExxonMobil Foundation has awarded Goose Creek CISD (GCCISD) a historic $180,000 grant to strengthen Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education, improve elementary science achievement, and increase student and family engagement in learning opportunities.

Goose Creek CISD (GCCISD) has earned a B rating in the 2025-2026 Texas Education Agency (TEA) accountability ratings, increasing its overall score by two points from 78 to 80. The district is celebrating academic progress, including five A-rated campuses, five B-rated campuses, and 14 campuses that improved their overall score from the previous year.
